To import course content to a different course, access the course you want to import content to and the course you want to import content from. In this guide, the course you want to import content to will be referred to as the Destination Course, and the course you are importing content from will be referred to as the Source Course. You need to be an instructor in both courses.
- In the Destination Course, click Course Admin from the navbar of the course.
- From the "Course Administration" page, click Import/Export/Copy Components.
- Select the Copy Components from another Org Unit option, then click the Search for offering button.
- Next, type the Source Course name in the search field and click the Search button.
- Select the Source Course, then click the Add Selected button.
- From the "Import/Export/Copy Components" page, choose one of two import options. You can copy the entire course by clicking the Copy All Components button (Fig 6A) to import everything from the Source Course to the Destination Course. Alternatively, you can click the Select Components button (Fig 6B) and choose what you import from the Source Course.

Fig 6B) - If you click the Select Components button, there are additional options. Select the item(s) to import. In this example, "Assignments" are selected to be imported. Once you have made your selection, click the Continue button.
- Next, make adjustments to the content you are importing as needed. If you do not want to import the same start dates, the dates can be changed by checking the Offset all dates of copied components checkbox. Click the Finish button.
- The import will begin. Wait until the process is complete.
- Once the import is complete, you can review dates to adjust dates for the imported items further, or you can access the content directly.
- You have successfully imported content from one course to another course.
