Setting up the Zoom Application

This tutorial will walk you through installing and logging in to the Zoom application.

Step 1:

For Windows: Visit https://its.aurora.edu/z/AuroraZoom.msi

For MacOS: Visit https://zoom.us/client/latest/ZoomInstallerIT.pkg

Step 2:

Allow the Zoom application to download and click on the downloaded file.

Step 3:

When the program is done installing a shortcut will be created on your desktop. Double click it to run

Step 4:

Click "Sign In" on the first page and click "Sign in with SSO" on the right:

Step 5:

Type "aurora" in the box and click "Continue":

Step 6:

You will be redirected to Okta.
Please sign in if you are not already

Step 7:

When you sign in, the following pop-up should appear:

Click "Open Zoom"

Step 8:

Zoom will now launch and you will be signed in.

Step 9:

Click "Join"

Enter the Meeting ID, ensure your name is correct and select "Join"
