Introduction
Disabling notifications may cause you to miss important course updates. Carefully consider which notifications to turn off to ensure you receive essential information.
Disabling Notifications from Brightspace
- In Brightspace, click your name in the top right corner and select Notifications from the drop-down menu.
- On the "Notifications" page, you can adjust how often you receive email summaries of course activity from the "Summary of Activity" section. However, this does not stop announcement emails and similar notifications.
- To disable specific announcement or assignment email notifications, navigate to the "Instant Notifications" section and uncheck the notifications you do not want to receive.
Disabling Notifications from the Pulse App
- Open the Settings menu in the Pulse app.
- Select Push Notifications to choose which notifications you want to receive. Note that selecting "Email Notifications" directs you to the “Notifications” page for non-mobile devices.
- Toggle off the switch for notifications you do not want to receive.
