Students, faculty, and staff can report suspected phishing and spam messages without contacting the ITS Helpdesk. The "Report a Suspicious Email" plugin is available for Outlook on the web, the Outlook desktop app, and the Outlook mobile app.
Outlook on the Web
1. Select the suspicious email.
2. Once the email is selected, click the Report Suspicious Email button on the menu bar, and the email will be routed to the ITS security system. You will receive an email once the suspicious email has been reviewed.
Outlook Desktop App
- Select the suspicious message.
- Select the "Message" tab along the top.
- Click the icon shown below:
Outlook Mobile App
1. Open the Outlook mobile app and open the suspicious email.
2. Tap the three dots in the top right corner of the message.
3. Tap the Phish Alert button and the email will be routed to the ITS security system. You will receive an email once the suspicious email has been reviewed.
