If you do not know your password:
- Navigate to aurorauniversity.okta.com
- Select "Forgot Password?" at the bottom of the log in prompt
- Enter your email address or username in the text field
- Select either “Get a push notification” from Okta Verify (Recommended), Google Authenticator, Phone or Email
- If you selected Okta Verify, confirm the push notification on your phone and then select the number that matches what is shown on the computer page.
- If you selected Google Authenticator, enter the code from the app into the text field and click “Verify”.
- If you selected Phone, enter the code sent to your device in the text field and click "Verify".
- If you selected Email, follow the directions in the email.
- Enter your new password in both text fields and click “Reset Password”
If you do know your password, but would like to change it anyways:
- Log into your Okta account.
- Once on the dashboard, click your name in the top right corner.
- Click "Settings".
- Click the green button labeled "Edit Profile" and verify, then enter your current password.
- Under the "Change Password" section, enter your current password into the "Current password" text field
- Enter a new password in the "New password" field (For security, passwords need to be at least 14 characters long, contain a mix of upper and lower case characters, a number and a special character.)
- Confirm the password in the "Confirm new password" field.
- Click "Change Password".
