AU-Spartans
For Students, Faculty & Staff (Academic Buildings & Residence Halls)
AU-Spartans is the primary wireless network for students, faculty, and staff to use in academic buildings and residence halls. It replaces the AuroraUniversity and AU-ResNet networks. Use your Aurora University username and password to connect to the network using a personal device. If you are using a university device and begin connecting to the AU-Spartans network, it will connect you to the network automatically and fully encrypt your session.
Spartan-Devices
For Entertainment Devices (Residence Halls)
Spartan-Devices is the wireless network for students to use in the Residence Halls for entertainment devices including gaming consoles, wireless speakers, and more and it replaces the ResHall-Devices network. To add devices to the Spartan-Devices network, users must register devices in ClearPass before they can connect to the network. Access the Wireless Device Registration article for ClearPass device registration instructions. The wireless network is available to access at https://clearpass.aurora.edu/guest/auth_login.php, however, laptop and desktop computers, tablets, and smartphones should connect to the AU-Spartans wireless network since they do not require wireless device registration.
