You can now enroll yourself in Okta Multi-Factor Authentication to add an extra layer of security to your Okta account. This will send a push notification to your smartphone that must be confirmed in order to sign in.

- Sign in to Okta
- Select your name in the top right and select "Settings" from the drop-down menu
- In the "Extra Verification" section, select "Set up"
- On the following page, select "Setup"
- Select your device type
- Download the Okta Verify app from your devices app store
- Open the Okta Verify app on your phone and tap through the introductory screens.
- Select "Add Account"
- Select "Organization" for the account type
- Select "Scan a QR Code" and scan the QR code generated on the next page on your computer
- Tap through the welcome prompts
- Congratulations, you have successfully enrolled in Okta MFA.
From here, you can sign out and sign back into Okta using MFA. - From now on, when you attempt to sign in, you will be sent a notification or asked for a code in the Okta Verify app.
